My Guitar

Oh I am just giddy with excitement!!! I finally bought my treasured Taylor acoustic guitar. I think the coolest part is that it says my name on it. :) It sounds amazing for such a little guy and may be the funnest guitar to play that I have ever played. I havent come up with a name for her yet..........

Soft Spot

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for kids with autism. As I was walking into walmart, i saw this guy asking for donations, usually i put them off so i just made up my mind early. He asked if i would like to donate and I just let off my automated responds, "No, thanks." Then when I was walking in the store i realized what he was asking for and how i hadn't even given it any thought at all. It always hits me hard when I blow people off like that. So I immediately went back out and put in the 10 bucks that were in my wallet. I love autistic kids. A thought keeps coming to me that I should go into autistic research so I can help find a cure. We will see how it all plays out.

Never ever give up

Let me tell you something you already know, the world aint all sunshine and rainbows, its a very mean and nasty place and I dont care how tough you are, it will beat you yo your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You , me, or nobody, is gonna hit as hard as life; but it aint about how hard you hit, its about how hard you can get hig and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward. Thats how winning is done.
Cause if youre willing to go through all the battling you gotta go throught to get to where you wanna get, whos got the right to stop you? I mean maybe some of you guys got something you bever finished, something you really want to do, something you never said to somebody, something. And youre told no, even after you pay your dues. Whos got the right to tell you that, who? Nobody. Its your tight to listen to your gut, it aint nobodys right to say no, after you earn the right to be where you want to be and do what you want to do.
Now if you know what youre worth, then go out and get what youre worth. But youve gotta be willing to take the hits. And not pointing fingers saying you aint where you wanna be because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that aint you! Youre better than that!
My good old friend Rocky said this. And I completely love it. I love the line, It aint about how hard you can hit, its about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward. Always remember, Never give up. No matter what. Keep fighting for what is right and true. Never focus on how hard you can hit others. Help them endure the hits not give them more struggles to worry about. Life can be great and incredible but it is also an up hill struggle at times. Learn from these struggles and keep moving forward. Always do your best in everything you do.

Spiritual Sojourn

Last week Mr. Cordell Cox, Mr. Landon Wray and I embarked on a spiritual journey. It was a complete journey that took us out of this world, well atleast to my front yard. There were many things to be said. After all the pleasant greetings, the conversation started to turn towards the deeper and more meaningfull subjects. It was truely enlightening. As we commenced in this conversation, I learned that 1. I respect these guys even more than i thought. 2. Im really glad I brought bug spray. And 3. People are constantly changing, we may not agree with it, but it happens. I learned 2 big gems from this in respects to people. People are still almost always trying to find their true selves or atleast build on the base that they have already build. It is and will be a companion who tests us continuously. It effects everyone. Some more than others. But I still believe there is good in everyone and I pray that it will eventually prevail when everything that was needed to be learned was gleaned from life. Secondly, I learned the power in communication. It is a HUGE skill and tool that can benefit everyone and gives great power to the few that can use it well. Communication is huge with the people around us. Just to simply tell them how we feel truely and simply say it how it is. I find huge respect for those who say it how it is when it is right without being hurtful and can also take the truth and change in the places they are lacking. Just to wrap up, Cordell Cox and Landon Wray are true Extraodinary Gentlemen and complete studds! I have so much respect for you guys and look up to you like a fat boy looks up to cake.
